Vaughn Ouellette, Moderator, has been a member of Christian Temple since 1990.  He previously served numerous church positions, including Vice-Moderator, Moderator, Assistant Treasurer, Treasurer, Trustee, Deacon, Elder Chair, Red Cross Blood Drive Coordinator, and assorted volunteer positions.  He presently serves as an Elder, and member of the Chancel Choir and the Worship Committee.   Currently, he is a member of the Catonsville Dismantling Racism Committee.

He formerly served the Christian Church Capital Area Region as Moderator-elect, Moderator, and Treasurer; and member of the Commission on Mission Funding in the Office of the President and General Minister, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). 

He also served the Disciples Justice Action Network (DJAN), Inc., as Treasurer and Trustee; and served on other local non-profit boards. 

He retired from federal service with the Social Security Administration, Bureau of Medicare, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  He is a U.S. Navy veteran and served during the Vietnam War era.
