The Seed Newsletter: December 25, 2022
Dear Christian Temple Family,
It is finally here! We’ve been waiting and anticipating this time together and the days of celebration are here!
We hope to see you on Christmas Eve. Music of the season will begin at 6:30 p.m. and worship will begin at 7:00 p.m. You may just want to arrive a little early to find your seat. On that beautiful evening, we will light candles, sing carols, and enjoy the presence of each other. It will be a wonderful time that you don’t want to miss.
On Christmas Day, we will gather together for a virtual service on YouTube and Facebook. The time of worship will go live at 11:00 a.m. and you are welcome to watch it when it works best for you and yours. Since the bomb cyclone is insuring a bitter cold, we hope you can stay warm and out of the elements on Sunday.
The Church Office will be closed December 26-30 to provide a breather for the staff before we join again for worship on January 1. That service will be all about congregational participation and will be a lot of fun.
So, that is the word from Christian Temple at this moment. Stay warm!

HYMNS FOR JANUARY 1 SERVICE
A special part of our service of worship for January 1, 2023 will be the hymn selections. Please come to church... ready to chose the music for this service. You'll get to enjoy singing all of your favorites - from Advent through Christmas to Epiphany!
9 O'CLOCK FORUM
In the new year, we hope you will consider joining our 9AM Sunday Forum for thoughtful discussion and reflection. Please look over our January schedule of topics:

IN SEARCH OF... GREETERS!
Is anyone interested in helping out by being a greeter on Sunday mornings? All you have to do is come to church at about 10:40, greet folks at the door, welcome new folks and get their contact info if they don't mind, and take attendance. You can also choose the Sundays that work for you. If you'd like to join the wonderful team of Greeters, please contact Susan Safford at susiebacti@mail.com or 410 218-3487.

The Children's Choir will be meeting again on January 8th (10:15 am)!
No Transformers for December 24th and 25th, but we will be meeting again on Sunday, January 1st for kids in attendance! Kids will leave to participate in the program right after the Children’s Moment during our worship service. Kecia Johnson is the Education Coordinator for Christian Temple who also leads this group. Kecia will be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding the Transformer program and schedule.
PANDEMIC PREPAREDNESS POLICY UPDATED
The Official Church Board updated Christian Temple's Pandemic Preparedness Policy to more accurately reflect the current realities of the pandemic. Anyone who would like to see the policy as it now is written may CLICK HERE.

Our email distribution lists are almost up-to-date, but we are concerned that we may have missed a friend or two during this process.
