The Seed: April 30, 2023
Dear Christian Temple,
We have a few exciting Sundays coming up. First off, we will kick-off our Fifth Sunday Fellowships right after worship this Sunday, April 30. This will be a fun time to meet, great, and eat with one another.
Next Sunday, we will host a Bike Rodeo. Here is a little information about that:
What is a BIKE RODEO?
Let's start with what a bike rodeo is not: it is not a competition and you will not (hopefully) be thrown off any angry bulls while attending our bike rodeo. It is simply an event for kids to learn more about being safe and informed cyclists. For us, that means you will learn about bike maintenance, helmet fit, overcoming obstacles, and nutrition. We also hope to have resources available for you to get connected with others and to a larger cycling community because a safe rider never rides alone!
Bring the kids and bring the bikes!
Hotdogs and refreshments will be served!
Activities:
-Bike Maintenance
-Tips and Tricks
-Safety and Wellness
May 7th - 1:30 p.m. - Christian Temple (lower) parking lot
We hope to see you for both big events.
Much love,
John

LEADERSHIP ROUNDTABLE
On April 30th, we are asking all leaders of teams, committees, and boards to meet together with the pastors for a time of sharing in order to best understand the institutional needs and opportunities of the church. The meeting will begin at 1:30pm in the Library.
BIKE RODEO
Mark your calendars for May 7th (1:30pm). We will be having a Bike Rodeo in the lower parking lot. This will be a service for the entire community to learn about bike safety, but mostly an opportunity to mingle and fellowship with one another over two wheels or two legs.
