Mr. Powell grew up in Southern Maryland and graduated from Western Maryland (now McDaniel) College, in Westminster, MD in 1979. He received his Masters of Divinity degree from Christian Theological Seminary and ordained into Christian ministry in 1983, and was called to be Pastor at Centenary Christian Church in Indianapolis. After serving at Centenary for twelve years Mr. Powell was called to Christian Temple in 1995. His wife, Jayna, is also an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The Powells have three children, Isaac (21), Micah (17), and Jordan (16). |

Mark Wilson is a native of Idaho who graduated with honors from Boise State University in 1974. After attending a choral writing seminar led by Joyce Ellers, he was encouraged by her to begin creative choral writing. Over the last fifteen years Mark has composed over fifty published anthems. During his early years of writing Mark completed his Masters Degree with honors in Piano Performance from the prestigious Peabody Conservatory. He was a student under Lillian Freundlich. |

Mark is an active choral adjudicator and has served as a choral clinician at many local, regional and national church music workshops. Mark retired from the music faculty at St. Paul's School where he served as Director of Music for the Middle School and as Chairperson of the Music Department. He continues to write for six publishers. |
